So much can be seen in a person’s character in their facial expressions when they’re deep in thought, in joy, grimace, in reactions to something. There’s so much that can be conveyed through a person’s gestures, the way they throw things, the way they place things... Whether a face is beautiful or ugly, it’s such a curiosity and beauty at the same time! Some people’s face show every emotion they have, some have deeper ones hiding every thought…

A person with far off thoughtful eyes… what are they thinking? What are they pondering? A person with a twisted mouth and watching eyes… that you can’t figure out, are they puzzled? Are they questioning? Are they suspecting something? Or are they amused? In faces of watching, watching with amusement, watching in neutrality, watching in disgust, watching with admiration, watching in concentration and focus, watching with an expressionless face with eyes that one can’t figure out, watching with thoughts unbeknownst to anyone else. Even in faces of disgust or desperation, so interesting to watch how people’s faces change in the details of their eyes, eyebrows, mouth, even nose and in those changes, so interesting how we can understand so much from an expression and empathize… It’s so amusing to watch people’s faces change! Can’t help laughing sometimes... I wonder… what is it about human character that makes one more attuned to everyone’s expressions, what is it that makes people completely unaware, what is it that makes one so aware of other’s movements and actions, what is it that make people so attuned to each other? Faces in animation over something incredibly exciting, something incredibly joyful, faces in explaining something with so much enthusiasm and interest, faces in deep solemn discussion and contemplation, faces of understanding, expressions of sadness… so amazing how we simply react and so much can be conveyed in our faces controlled by the muscles involuntarily… it just happens… so beautifully and it's so... incredibly fascinating…

What is it about a face that reflects so much wisdom, joy, kindness, love, peace and beauty in the heart, and yet hatred? The wrinkles around the eyes, the forehead, the mouth, the lips, the upper cheeks, the muscles around the mouth, the eyebrows… I wonder what God’s face looks like, I wonder what his eyes look like, such ones that are constantly deep in thought and wisdom, laughing with joy and satisfaction, furrowing in deep just anger… I wonder what His expressions are like with such purity, just, goodness, and love? I’d love one day to just watch Him work, watch how He loves His children, watch how He protects them, watch How he judges things, watch how His mind works if He physically has one haha, watch His gestures and stature, the way He carries Himself, will He have a physical presence?

animations/creativity

remember when you were a kid watching cartoons, reading books about magic, dragons galore, impossibly superhuman abilities, watching superhero comics... than imagined your own play world of fantasy, clay came to life, stuff animals could talk, globs of silly puddy had character, carebears were real, and we could fly!!!

ever wonder where all these things came to fruition? creativity of the brain... imagination... yet where did that imagination come from? simple finger point from Bewitched and a spilled pot could be reversed, blink of an eye from I love Genie and you could disappear... o man how many times did I WISH I could have those abilities in elementary school, preschool, even middle school... books of elves/dwarves/dragons with skills and talents beyond physical feasibility... where did all these ideas come from? is there a limit at some point? why did they appear? deep desire to escape reality, playful joy and random thoughts...?

even though there is no real answer... can't help wondering sometimes... reading Brisingr in the Eragon series, saw a commercial of cartoon characters emerging out of chocolate so smooth, chocolate so gooey, couldn't help wondering, these ideas, so interesting, where did they come from? feels like there's no limit if one wanted to explore the human mind, the depths of its thoughts, joys, pains, imagination, values, then the subconscious, dreams, dreams that come true, instincts, instinctive feelings that come true, attractions, rejections, logic and reasoning... and then, others creations/music/movies become our form of entertainment, we adopt ideas from it and people in society share interests that consist of other's creativity, creations... so where is our own? given our beginnings and imaginations overlap with others too... *shrug* just thoughts...

mmhmm

North Korean coca cola...

North Korean coca cola...
O.o... haha
Wednesday, October 22, 2008

“Try not to be a man of success, but rather to be a man of value” (Albert Einstein)

"Work as if it all depends on you, and yet trust as if you did not work at all. If you love flowers, you have to have the green plant, the nutrients that go into the plant, the growing of the plant, the rooting of the seed, the transfer of the seed either by natural wonders of wind/rain, or by other insects! so every form of natural plant life we appreciate and eat is somehow related back to insects!

so... why is it that so many people absolutely HATE insects? or certain species of them...

on vegetarian meat....

me: "they make it out of soy and mushroom stuff with seasoning, not all the time... it's pretty tasty tho..."
friend: "ewwwwww!
